DONATE THE FOODFamilies, schools and communities all around the nation are growing gardens and then giving the food to local soup kitchens. It's a great feeling knowing that the love and care you put into your garden will produce food for someone who is hungry.
Contact your local government's PARKS and RECREATION office to find out whether there is a place in your town for a community garden. Community gardens are a great way to build community spirit by working together for a good cause.
